Who we are

Lex Millwork is a Home Depot service provider. We measure and install doors for Home Depot customers in the New York metropolitan area. When a Home Depot order is assigned to us, we contact the customer to schedule a door measure appointment.

What our text messages are for

We send text messages only about a specific door measure appointment connected to your Home Depot order. That includes appointment confirmations, reminders before your appointment, follow-ups after a missed call, and replies to questions you send us.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How we get your mobile number

You give your mobile number to The Home Depot when you order your door and request an in-home measure. The Home Depot passes it to Lex Millwork, the installer assigned to your order. Its Privacy & Security Statement tells customers it works with installers that may communicate with them about their projects. We use it to call, text, and email you about scheduling and completing that order, and nothing else.

Every first text names Lex Millwork and tells you to reply STOP to opt out. A STOP applies to your number for every order, and we never text it again unless you reply START. The full explanation is published at why we text you about your door measure.

We do not sell or share your number

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share your information only with the parties needed to complete your appointment: Home Depot as the originator of your order, and the messaging provider that delivers our texts. None of them may use your number for their own marketing.

Message frequency, and what it costs

Message frequency varies by order. A typical order involves fewer than eight messages in total: a note each time we tried to reach you to schedule, a confirmation when it is booked, a reminder the day before, and any replies to questions you send us.

Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.

How to stop messages, and how to get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will get one confirmation message, and then no further texts. Reply START at any time to resume.

Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your appointment, so call us if you need to change or cancel it.
